Adrienne Hermes, LPC, CYT, C-DBT

I look forward to supporting you as a whole, unique, individual. My work as a therapist is focused on evidence based practices and helping you to create and find meaning in your life. Self actualization is the process of realizing your potential, and the full development of your abilities and appreciation for life. Whether you are looking to manage a chronic mental illness, adjust to situational events, or stabilize or recover from a relationship, your ability to embrace yourself completely as you are, will help you to move forward.

My favorite aspect of therapy is helping individuals and couples reclaim their power to actuate change. Stagnation and indecision can be some of the most difficult aspects of struggling with mental health or acute stressors. Freedom comes when we find a "how" to begin creating movement once again. Through the combination of emotion focused, somatic, and cognitive evidence based practices, I can assist you with finding clarity and a way forward.

I specialize in humanistic, emotion focused, trauma informed therapy (TF-CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Therapy) Family Systems (Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Couples therapy (Gottman Method), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

The therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of your success in therapy. A consultation call can assist us with determining if our working relationship can assist you with reaching your goals in therapy.
